The uplifting remarkable outstanding members of URO live and work in metropolitan area on both sides of the state line. The total chapter membership is around 50. We would love to have you join our chapter!
Chapter Meetings
Upsilon Rho Omega Chapter meetings are open to duly initiated members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Proof of membership is required and must be verified prior to entering the meeting. Please present your most recent membership card, Ivy Leaf magazine with name and address label attached or certificate of membership, along with photo identification upon arrival.
Business attire is required for every chapter meeting. Chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month excluding July and August. Chapter meetings begin promptly at 1:30PM. First-time visitors are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early as credentials are verified prior to the meeting.
Graduate Membership
Graduate membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is by invitation only. Women seeking membership should visit www.aka1908.com for more information regarding the sorority and qualifications for membership.
